The main series

The Maze of Bones (2008): The first book is an introduction to the Cahill family and protagonists Amy and Dan.

One False Note (2008): Hot on the trail of yet another clue, Dan and Amy become suspects of a hotel break-in and must escape a dangerous mob.

The Sword Thief (2009): Amy and her younger brother team up with Alistair Oh in Japan.

Beyond the Grave (2009): Jude Watson penned the fourth book in the series. In Egypt, Amy and Dan are in Egypt receive a mysterious message from their dead grandmother.

The Black Circle (2009): In Russia, Dan and Amy locate stolen Nazi treasure that might help them find out how their parents died. Patrick Carman penned this book.

In Too Deep (2009): The siblings are in Sydney to quiz cousin Seb about the 39 clues.

The Viper's Nest (2010): In this book, Dan and Amy are reeling after witnessing the death of a woman in Indonesia.

The 39 Clues: Agent Handbook (2010): Being a member of the most powerful family in the world is hard. But at least Amy and Dan now have the Agent Handbook and never-before-seen Cahill intelligence. 

The Emperor's Code (2010): Gordon Korman wrote this book. Amy must choose between finding Dan and chasing down the next clue.

Storm Warning (2010): On the hunt for the next clue, the Cahills come face-to-face with the man in black.

Into the Gauntlet (2010): In this Margaret Peterson Haddix book, the clue hunt may help them learn a dark Madrigal secret.  

Vespers Rising (2011): Rick Riordan, Peter Lerangis, Gordon Korman, and Jude Watson reveal that the Cahills are not the only powerful family in the world.

The Black Book of Buried Secrets (Companion Book, 2012): With a Rick Riordan introduction, this book delivers all the secrets of the series.  

Cahills vs. Vespers

The next set of 39 Clues books focuses on the Cahills vs. Vespers feud.

The Medusa Plot (2011): In the first book, Gordon Korman sets the stage for the showdown, as the Vespers kidnap Dan and May.   

A King's Ransom (2011): To save the seven family members held hostage by the Vespers, the siblings have only days to find an ancient map.  

The Dead of Night (2012): When the Vespers snatch 11-year-old Atticus, Dan and Amy must try to save him.   

Shatterproof (2012): In this 39 Clues book, the Vespers force the siblings to steal the world's biggest diamond. 

Trust No One (2012): The Cahill kids are reeling after discovering a Vesper mole in their inner circle in this Linda Sue Park book.

Day of Doom (2013): David Baldacci concludes the Cahills vs. Vespers series with another gripping tale. The family’s power must prevail to outrun their enemies.   

Unstoppable

Nowhere to Run (2013): Jude Watson kickstarts the next series of events. After learning that the 39 clues contain the ingredients for a powerful serum, Amy and her younger brother Dan know they must guard them to their death.

Breakaway (2013): Jeff Hirsch delivers the next gripping tale. Amy and Dan must defeat a foe, but Dan discovers that even his sister can’t be trusted.

Countdown (2014): Dan faces his worst dilemma yet. Just how far is his sister willing to go to save his life? This Cahill family book is by Natalie Standiford.

Flashpoint (2014): With only a few hours to live before poison kills her, Amy must find the antidote fast.
